Police will investigate a dangerous dog incident after a loose animal caused concern in Eton and Dorney.
Thames Valley Police say the dog, described as dangerously out of control, has now been secured. Officers thanked the public for their vigilance and said significant resources were used to locate the animal amid fears for safety. It is understood the dog later found its own way home.
Police have launched a murder investigation following the death of a young woman in Leeds.
Officers were called to Kennerleigh Avenue in Austhorpe shortly before six in the morning after reports she had been found unconscious in the street. She suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital but died shortly afterwards. The woman has not yet been identified and enquiries continue to trace her next of kin.

A fire has broken out at a Grade Two listed building in Staffordshire.
Six fire crews were called to The Big Mill in Leek on Friday evening. The building is more than one hundred and sixty five years old. Drone footage showed flames covering the entire structure, with the roof destroyed and part of a wall missing. Smoke was still rising from the site on Saturday morning as crews continued to monitor the scene.
