He is being questioned on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm. Police were called to the High Street on Friday evening where around thirty young people were involved. Weapons including bottles and knives were used, and the two injured suffered facial wounds not believed to be life threatening.

Former Formula One driver Alex Zanardi has died at the age of 59.

His family said the Italian racing champion passed away on Friday night. They said he died peacefully surrounded by those closest to him. Zanardi later became a Paralympic gold medallist after his racing career, earning recognition for his achievements both on and off the track.

England’s red squirrels are close to extinction and the government must do more to protect them, according to an animal welfare group.

A petition by Save Our Reds has gained more than seventy five thousand signatures. Campaign founder Marie Carter Robb said urgent measures should be brought together into a national plan, while Defra says it is tackling the threat posed by non native grey squirrels.

The European Union has criticised Donald Trump after he announced plans to increase tariffs on vehicles exported to the United States.

The president said the measures would rise to twenty five percent from next week, accusing the EU of not complying with a trade deal. In response, the EU parliament trade committee chair said the move showed the United States was unreliable.

More than £8,000 has been raised at a memorial ice hockey match at Slough Ice Arena for Adam Greener.

The former Slough Jets defenceman died last month. Players who had competed with and against him took part, with more than five hundred people attending alongside his family. Supporters from his former clubs, Basingstoke Bison and Bracknell Bees also joined the event.
