One person has died after a car was driven into a crowd at a pride event in Berlin, according to German newspaper Bild citing police.

Berlin police spokesman Florian Nath confirmed officers have identified a suspect known to the city’s Islamist scene. He said measures against the unarrested suspect are under way, and city-wide searches remain ongoing.
