After a weekend with just an away game, Slough Jets return to home ice to face Chelmsford Chieftains in the 2025/26 NIHL1 Britton Conference.
Last time on home ice Slough pulled off an impressive 8-5 over Invicta Dynamos to gain points in the Challenge Cup but now it’s valuable league points being played for.
Doors open at 5.45pm and the puck drops at 6.30pm.
Ice hockey is known as the world’s fastest and most thrilling indoor sport, with roots dating back to 1875 in Canada. The Slough Jets were founded in 1986 by Gary Stefan and have proudly represented the town ever since. Today, the team competes in the National Ice Hockey League Britton Division, with home games played at Slough Ice Arena on Montem Lane most weekends between September and April. The Jets temporarily relocated to a temporary facility in the rink car park during the Ice Arena’s redevelopment in 2016/17 and 2017/18 but have since returned to their true home.
We’ve got a pair of tickets to give away for Saturday’s clash. Mark launches the competition at 8am on Monday, with entries open until 3pm on Friday. The winner will be revealed live on Friday’s Drivetime with Ben.
Good luck!
