A major search is under way for an eleven-year-old boy who went missing after being seen entering the River Don in Mexborough, South Yorkshire.
Police were called at 7:59pm on Saturday. Inspector Neil Pryce, of the Doncaster Response Team, confirmed they know exactly where the boy entered the water based on witness reports and items left on the riverbank. A coordinated multi-agency operation is now utilising specialist skills and equipment, with officers doing everything possible to locate the youngster.
A body has been discovered during the search for a missing man from Slough.
Police believe the deceased is twenty-six-year-old Aeman, who had been missing since Friday, May twenty-ninth. In a statement shared on social media on the evening of May thirtieth, Thames Valley Police confirmed that while formal identification has yet to take place, the body is believed to be that of the missing man. His next of kin have been informed of the tragic development.
