A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder after a body was found next to a seriously injured girl in County Tyrone.

The Police Service of Northern Ireland said the dead man was discovered in Dungannon, while ambulance crews responded to an emergency call just after eleven o’clock on Saturday morning. A patient was taken to the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children, and police officers have sealed off a terraced house on Lisnahull Road.
