Seven people have been arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a newborn baby girl in South Yorkshire.

South Yorkshire Police were called to an address in Holywell Heights in the Wincobank area of Sheffield just before six o’clock on Sunday morning over concerns for the baby’s safety. The infant was pronounced dead at the scene despite the efforts of attending officers and paramedics.

A Ferrari driver has escaped uninjured after losing control of the supercar in wet conditions on the M602 in Salford, Greater Manchester.
