King Charles is to become the first UK monarch to reveal how much he has paid in tax.

The total amount he paid during the twenty-four twenty-five financial year will be published later this week as part of the royal family’s annual finance report. Buckingham Palace said the decision was made to encourage wider understanding of accountability and increase transparency.

Iran’s top joint military command says the Strait of Hormuz has been closed again after accusing the US and Israel of violating a ceasefire agreement.

Police were called at around four twenty this morning following a potential altercation on Glycena Road in Battersea. Officers attended with the ambulance services and found the teenager with serious injuries. Despite the efforts of paramedics, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The latest agreement followed concerns that continued clashes would undermine the deal to end the war between the US and Iran. The Israeli military confirmed the ceasefire but a spokesman says its forces will continue working to remove all remaining immediate threats.

The RMT union has now confirmed that the person killed in the train crash near Bedford yesterday was one of the train drivers.

General Secretary Eddie Dempsey said their thoughts are with the family and also the ASLEF trade union, while ASLEF thanked the emergency services still at the scene.
