Slough Jets complete the treble

The Slough Jets completed a treble on Sunday at Coventry Skydome adding the National Ice Hockey League Division 1 National Championship to their already secured south League and Play-off Wins.

The Slough Jets moved to a commanding 3-0 lead at the end of the first period thanks to powerplay goals from Juha Lindgren and Conner Redmond and an even strength goal from Ben Ealey-Newman.

The second period saw a second goal from Lindgren for 4-0 before Ollie Hemmings-Maher made it 5-0 just before half way. A consolation powerplay goal from Rolands Gritans was soon cancelled out by Dylan Hollicka scoring the Jets 6th at 39.17.

A scoreless final period saw the Jets crowned National Champions ending a season of ups and downs on a high.
