Details have been announced by Buckingham Palace regarding Prince Philip’s Funeral which will take place in Windsor on Saturday 17th April 2021.
Coronavirus restrictions mean the ceremony has had to be scaled down, with only 30 guests allowed in contrast with the estimated 800 originally planned to attend.
Those leading the procession include Prince Charles, Princess Anne, Prince William, Prince Harry, Prince Andrew and Prince Edward.
The Queen will be attending the funeral of her late husband as will the Duke’s children, Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew and Prince Edward.
Others in attendance include Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge, Prince Harry, Peter Phillips, Zara and Mike Tindall, Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank,
Viscount Severn and Lady Louise Mountbatten-Windsor, Lady Sarah and Mr Daniel Chatto, The Earl of Snowdon,
Prince Richard, Duke of Gloucester, The Duke of Kent, Princess Alexandra, the Honourable Lady Ogilvy,
The Hereditary Prince of Baden, The Landgrave of Hesse, Philipp, Prince of Hohenlohe-Langenburg and Countess Mountbatten of Burma.
Tomorrow from 10am, as a mark of respect we will be suspending our normal programming which will resume at 5pm and we will also be observing the national minute’s silence at 3pm.
