Former world snooker champion Graeme Dott has been jailed for seven years for historical child sex abuse.

The 49 year-old was sentenced by Lord Harrower at the High Court in Edinburgh on Tuesday. Dott had denied wrongdoing, but was found guilty last month of indecent practices involving two primary school-aged children, with offenses spanning between 1993 and 1996 in Glasgow, and 2006 to 2010 in South Lanarkshire.
