Six men have been arrested after a man was found dead inside a house in Leicester.
Police say they were called by paramedics to a property on Sawley Street just after half past one on Sunday morning. A man in his thirties was discovered with a stab wound and pronounced dead at the scene. Leicestershire Police have launched a murder investigation and the suspects remain in custody as detectives continue their inquiries.

Police have launched an investigation after a suspected arson attack at a mosque in Peacehaven, East Sussex.
Emergency services were called just before ten o’clock on Saturday night, after flames were seen at the entrance of the building. Doorbell footage shows two people near the steps — moments later, the fire erupts and someone is seen running to safety from inside. Sussex Police say they’re treating the blaze as suspicious and are appealing for witnesses.
Counter-terrorism officers have been granted more time to question four people arrested over Thursday’s deadly attack on a Manchester synagogue.
The suspect, thirty-five-year-old Jihad al Shamie, who was on bail for an alleged rape, was shot by police after ramming a car into the Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation and attacking worshippers with a knife during Yom Kippur. Three men remain in hospital, while fifty-three-year-old Adrian Daulby, who tried to intervene, was shot dead by police at the scene.

At least five people have been killed in one of Russia’s largest combined missile and drone attacks on Ukraine in months.
