From Monday 14th September Atom Radio welcomes back Andy Smith who will return to his 10am – 1pm (UK Time) slot.
Join Andy for three hours of music, conversation and fun as he slides back behind the controls Mondays to Fridays.
Mark Denholm explained; “Andy and I spoke and he explained to me he had to step aside due to work commitments but when he asked me if I’d like him to come back and present his show again I snatched his hand off (virtually of course, socially distant over the telephone!) Andy’s departure left a huge gap in the schedule, he’s a polished professional, a brilliant broadcaster who makes radio seem effortless. I’ll have to step my Drivetime game up now Andy is back with his friendly humour and more but, even with that in mind, when he asked if I’d like to have him back there was only ever going to be one answer from me!
Mark continued; “At a time where many areas in the UK have lost their radio stations to be replaced with national stations taking their frequencies, I’m delighted Atom Radio has got Andy back on board. We’ve always played the music you want to hear and that doesn’t change but now that Andy’s back there’ll be great human company every week day between 10am and 1pm.”
Andy is no stranger to the area having presented on Time 106.6 and also 107 Jack FM Berkshire.
Andy Smith starts back on Atom Radio on Monday 14th September and from the same date the weekday Music Monsters – The Greatest Songs Ever moves an hour later to 1pm.
