The Slough Jets end the 2025 Play-off run as NIHL Britton Play-off champions thanks to a 6-0 defat of Streatham Redhawks on Saturday night.

The Southern Final faced-off 112 minutes late due to overrunning earlier games but the Slough Jets put in a dominate performance in a game that finished just after midnight.

Earlier in the day Billingham Stars had beaten Blackburn Hawks in the Northern Final to set up a clash on Sunday with the winner of the Slough vs Streatham game.

Sunday’s 4.30 face-off saw the Stars take an early lead but the Jets kept close. Eventually the Jets tied the game and then took the lead but a powerplay goal from the Stars pulled it back to 4-4 and the game would be decided in overtime.

A goal from import Rolands Gritans in the extra period saw the Stars clinch the NIHL1 Play-off title but the two sides meet again next Sunday at Coventry for the NIHL1 League Champion clash.
